Rough Fire Causes Mandatory Evacuation Notices to be Issued
Due to changing conditions of the Rough Fire, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is informing the public that effective immediately, mandatory evacuation notices are being issued to certain residents near where the Rough Fire is burning. This is a fluid situation and there is no time table for when these mandatory evacuations will be lifted.


8/30/15 - Sunday night, the evacuation warning notices in the Wishon area were lifted. The precautionary measure was put in place on Friday as fire crews battling the Rough Fire conducted measures to help contain the fire. The operation was a success.
Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are searching for Francisco Petatan, 27, of Fresno. He is wanted for attempted murder. Petatan has a violent criminal history. He may be armed, so the public should not approach him. Instead, call law enforcement immediately.
Alejandro Rosales, 29, of Sanger has been booked into the Fresno County Jail. He is facing felony charges of receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana for sale. He is being held on $115,000 bail.
Angel Gonzales, 28, of Fresno has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of vehicle theft, evading an officer and probation violation. He has an extensive violent criminal history.
An ambulance transported a man to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno Monday after he received severe injuries in a car crash near E. Clinton and N. Ashley Way in Fresno.
