On Saturday, November 14th at 10:00 am, Garden of Innocence - Fresno County will hold a burial service for eight babies: Jill Elise, Stella, Aurora, Isaac, Jeremiah, Christopher, Samuel and Nehemiah. It takes place at Mt. View Cemetery, 1411 W. Belmont Ave. in Fresno.

Update 11/12/15 7 a.m.: Around 12:45 am on Thursday, David Warren Riggins entered the main lobby of the Fresno County Jail and turned himself in to officers. Riggins stated that he knew law enforcement agencies were conducting an intense search for him and he was tired of hiding. Riggins has been booked into jail and faces two new charges; one for escape and one for conspiracy.
Local law enforcement agencies are actively searching for an inmate who was incorrectly released from the Fresno County Jail around 8:00 am on Wednesday.

It is with great sadness that the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of retired K-9 Reno. Reno was most known for his incredible recovery after being wounded in the line of duty during a July 2009 shootout between an armed suspect and deputies.

On October 14 at 11:30 am, two men drove into the parking lot of a business located on the 10600 E. Mountain View Ave. in Selma. These suspects were in a small, red hatchback car; possibly a Honda.

Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two people tied to a home invasion robbery case. Andre Madison, 38, of Fresno and Danecke George, 30, of Fresno have both been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges. Madison is also currently on parole.
