It is with great sadness that the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of retired K-9 Reno.  Reno was most known for his incredible recovery after being wounded in the line of duty during a July 2009 shootout between an armed suspect and deputies.

On October 14 at 11:30 am, two men drove into the parking lot of a business located on the 10600 E. Mountain View Ave. in Selma. These suspects were in a small, red hatchback car; possibly a Honda.

Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two people tied to a home invasion robbery case. Andre Madison, 38, of Fresno and Danecke George, 30, of Fresno have both been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges. Madison is also currently on parole.

Deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Ismael Morales, 41, of Reedley. Morales has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on numerous felony drug charges and outstanding warrants.

Deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two people responsible for vehicle burglaries. Marcos Bakle, 39, and Alfonso Gutierrez, 27, are being interviewed and will later get booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges.

Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested three teenagers tied to a carjacking case. Malik Hardamon, 18, has been booked into the Fresno County Jail. He faces felony charges of robbery, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property. Two young men, ages 16 and 17, have been booked into the Juvenile Justice Center. The 17 year old faces felony charges of robbery, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property. The 16 year old faces a felony charge of possession of stolen property.
