Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office recently recovered a variety of possible stolen items from an apartment located on the 1000 block of N. Peach Ave. in Fresno.
Around 12:30 am on Thursday, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call where the caller stated that there was an injured woman at a home on the 20000 block of Auberry Road, near the intersection of Millerton Road.
On Tuesday, a trip to the downtown Fresno library turned into a tearful outing for a six year old girl named Naomi. She had visited the library with her mother and brought along her prized possession, a teddy bear. The two left the library and when they got home, Naomi realized she had forgotten her teddy bear at the library. They immediately drove back and contacted a staff member to search for the bear, but sadly it was gone. Naomi comes from a military family and her teddy bear provided a sense of stability and comfort to her during all of her travels.
Members of the Fresno HEAT (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) Task Force have booked three men into the Fresno County Jail.
Property Crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have booked a man and his girlfriend into the Fresno County Jail. Patrick Kasper, 22, of Fresno faces felony charges of burglary, drug possession, possession of a loaded gun and probation violation. Dianna Henson, 20, of Fresno faces felony charges of burglary and probation violation. Both have extensive criminal histories.
Shortly before 6:00 am Tuesday, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots being fired near a home on the 4300 block of Kenmore Drive South in the Mayfair District. The caller said that the ex-boyfriend of a woman at the house had shown up in a black SUV towing a trailer and unloaded furniture in the front yard. The man, 30 year old Jose Padilla, has a domestic violence restraining order and it is a violation for him to get near the people at this house. A resident got into an argument with Padilla, he drove away and then they heard what they believed to be multiple gunshots being fired. Deputies searched the area, but nothing was found to be struck by bullets.
