On September 28, 2014 during the early morning hours FSO Deputies were dispatched to a stabbing that occurred at a large party in the area of Fowler and Central Avenues.

This Saturday, September 27th, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Drug Enforcement Agency, will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs during the 9th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

Shortly after 9:30am, deputies responded to Central West High School after school officials reported a substitute teacher acting in a bizarre fashion and making strange comments in front of students. When they arrived, deputies made contact with the teacher, forty four year old Steven John Diddy, in the school office. After speaking with Diddy, he was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of a Coalinga man in connection with an armed robbery of the Travel Lodge Motel at I-5 & Hwy 198. Arrested was 18 year old Juan Carlos Pinones-Salazar.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of a Clovis man in connection with a hot prowl burglary during which time shots were fired at the suspect. Arrested was 35 year old Paul Anthony Rodriguez.

Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims announces the arrest of 26-year-old Selma resident Jose Ricardo Carrillo Montes on charges relating to possession of child pornography and “sextortion.”
