Effective Saturday, May 29, 2021, inmate visitations at all Fresno County Jail facilities are allowed. For more information on modified visitation procedures, click here.

You can do so by dropping off a copy at the Fresno Sheriff's Office Headquarters Records window. Your court order must be certified and signed by a judge. There is no fee for this service. If a copy has to be made by Records staff you will be charged a copy service fee.

You can call (559) 600-8402. You will need to provide the operator with the subject's full name and a date of birth. We will only provide court case number, court, date of issue and bail. We can only check for warrants issued out of Fresno County.

You can request a Sheriff's letter of clearance at the Fresno Sheriff's Office Headquarters Records window located at 2200 Fresno St, Fresno, CA 93721, during business hours Mon-Fri 9am to 4:00pm.

Please see master fee schedule. Forms of payment accepted are cash, money order, business and cashier’s checks.

To obtain a copy of a traffic accident, you must be listed as the driver, passenger, or an authorized agent/representative of the people listed in the report or someone filing the claim.

There are some restrictions that may apply, but if the report is available, you should contact the Records Unit at (559) 600-8400 or visit our Administration Office at 2200 Fresno Street, Fresno, Calif. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
