On Tuesday, members of the Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on 48 year old Debora Deaver of Fresno. A cause of death has not been determined and is pending the results of toxicology tests.
Shortly before 2:30 pm on December 3rd, a motorist called Fresno County Sheriff’s dispatchers to report seeing an injured person lying in a dry canal near the intersection of Brawley and Jensen Avenue. Deputies arrived on scene and determined the woman, later identified as Debora Deaver, was deceased.
Homicide detectives are investigating this case, which is being considered a questionable death.
