Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are releasing surveillance video of the possible suspect vehicle involved in a drive by shooting earlier this month that left one man dead.
On the night of November 10th, deputies responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of S Fig regarding the drive by shooting.
Upon arrival, they discovered 21 year old Chao Vang suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles in the area prior to, and during the shooting. One of the vehicles, described initially as a light colored Toyota 4Runner, may have been caught by a video surveillance camera as it fled the area. The vehicle appears to be lifted and may have a chrome grill guard on the front.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have information on the vehicle, or any other aspect of the investigation, to please contact Detective Donna Davis at 600-8207, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at 600-3111, or CrimeStoppers at 498-STOP(7867).
