Grill, R

Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives have recovered a stolen Chevy pick-up taken at gun point last week during a crime spree by wanted parolee, Randy Lee Grill.

The truck, a white colored, 2002 Chevy Z71, was recovered this past Friday in a neighborhood near the intersection of Cedar & Gettysburg. The suspect, identified as the 28 year old Grill, is still outstanding.

Grill is wanted on several felony charges stemming from an incident which occurred last week.

Last Wednesday, Grill used an unreported stolen Dodge pick-up to burglarize a shop located in the 3200 block of W Kearney. He stole several tools and other equipment from the shop before leaving. Neighbors observed and followed him to the area of Jensen & Prospect.

A short time later, Grill fled the area of Jensen & Prospect in the stolen Dodge. He ran a stop sign at Jensen & Valentine, striking another vehicle. Grill continued south on Valentine with the victim of the hit & run following. He turned east on Beran Way and then crashed into a chain link fence just east of Valentine. Grill exited the stolen truck and ran south through a vacant lot. Witnesses reported him to be armed with a handgun, and he fired rounds as he fled.

Grill apparently ran to an address on S Valentine where he stole the Chevy truck.

Grill is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, clean shaven with a shaved or buzz style haircut. He was reportedly wearing beige colored shorts, and a dark colored s/s shirt. He was also carrying a black backpack, and was armed with a handgun. Grill should be considered armed & dangerous.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Randy Grill is asked to immediately contact the Sheriff’s Office at 600-3111, or CrimeStoppers at 498-STOP(7867).
