A thirty year old Fresno man, shot multiple times last night in the area of Dudley & Hughes, has died as a result of his injuries.

Oley Thenbouapha was transported to Community Regional Medical Center early this morning after he was found shot in front of a residence located on the 2000 block of W Dudley Ave.

Just after 12:30am, deputies were dispatched to the area on a disturbance call with possible shots fired. While en route to the call, dispatch advised of a gunshot victim in front of the residence on Dudley.

Arriving deputies discovered Thenbouapha seated on the ground in front of the residence. Deputies administered first aid, and he was later transported to CRMC.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives are handling the case, and are looking in to initial reports Thenbouapha may have been shot during a robbery.

This the county’s thirteenth homicide of 2014.
