The Sheriff’s Foundation for Public Safety will host a “Career Day” for over 130 students that participate in the Sheriff’s Activity League, (SAL).

The Sheriff’s Activity League operates their summer program in the communities of Malaga, San Joaquin, Laton, and Caruthers.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 24th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm at Kearney Park, (7160 W Kearney Blvd.)

In addition to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, other agencies participating include the California Highway Patrol, American Ambulance, Fire Department, and the California Army National Guard.

Members of the Media are invited to attend.
