Valley Crime Stoppers has secured a private cash donation of $10,000 to go toward the investigation into the death of 19 year old Angel Zuniga of Fresno.
This has been added to Crime Stoppers’ original $3,000 reward, making it a total of $13,000.
Shortly after 1:30 am on October 29th, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a 911 call of shots fired at a home on the 8000 block of E. Hedges Ave. in Fresno. A large Halloween costume party was taking place at this location and there were approximately 200 guests in attendance. A disturbance broke out and shots were fired. 19 year old Angel Zuniga was struck and he died at the scene. The majority of the partygoers quickly left the home.
Deputies arrived on scene and detained the remaining party guests for questioning. No arrests have been made.
Detectives continue to ask for the public’s help in obtaining video and pictures taken at the party on the night of the homicide. It is common for partygoers to share video and pictures amongst themselves, but in this case, it is critical that it also be shared with detectives who are attempting to identify potential witnesses, victims and suspects.
