Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two people tied to a home invasion robbery case. Andre Madison, 38, of Fresno and Danecke George, 30, of Fresno have both been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges. Madison is also currently on parole.

Early Sunday morning, the victim visited the area of Parkway and Belmont in Fresno to find a prostitute. He met a woman who went by the name of Monica, but whose real name was later determined to be Danecke George. George asked the victim to go to a nearby motel with him, but he refused out of fear that he may be targeted for a robbery. Instead, the two agreed to drive to the victim’s home in the area of S. West Ave. and S. Henderson Rd. in Caruthers. While on the drive, George exchanged phone calls with a person, but the victim could not understand what they were discussing. They arrived at the home and began to engage in sexual relations. A short time later, an unknown man who was later identified as Andre Madison, entered the room and pushed the victim down and began to choke him. George and Madison then ran out of the home. The victim later discovered his wallet, containing a large amount of cash, was missing. He then reported the crime to the Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives and members of the Crime Scene Unit went to the home to collect evidence and interview the victim. Detectives later traveled to the Parkway and Belmont area and located Danecke George. She was interviewed and later arrested for being involved in the robbery.
On Monday, detectives went to Madison’s parole address, which is a house on the 2500 block of N. Pima Ave. Madison was not home, but detectives left a business card asking him to contact them. Later that night, Madison called Sheriff’s dispatchers and requested to speak with detectives. Detectives contacted Madison and they agreed to meet at a Sheriff’s Office substation. They interviewed Madison and later arrested him for being involved in the robbery.
The victim was not injured and is not facing any criminal charges.
