On September 28, 2014 during the early morning hours FSO Deputies were dispatched to a stabbing that occurred at a large party in the area of Fowler and Central Avenues.

Arriving deputies located the residence and detained several subjects. Two stabbing victims were transport to CRMC where one of the victims died from his injuries. The second victim was treated at CRMC with non-life threatening injuries. The deceased victim was identified as 19 yr. old Desmend Rios.
