The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of a Riverside man in connection with a residential burglary which occurred hours earlier. Arrested was 27 year old Hein Do.
Yesterday morning at about 10:30am, deputies responded to the burglary in progress call at a home located in the 2800 block of N Barton Ave. The caller reported two males had entered the home.
Before deputies arrived, the males exited the home and fled in a vehicle. The witness was able to give a description of the suspects, and also got the license plate of their car.
Arriving deputies determined a burglary had taken place during which time a computer and jewelry was stolen.
A records check of the suspect’s license plate found the vehicle to come back to a residence in the 2900 block of E Peralta Ave in the City of Fresno.
After a lengthy surveillance, Do was arrested as he exited the Peralta home. He was positively identified as one of the suspects, and subsequently arrested. He was later booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of burglary and parole violations.
The stolen property from the earlier burglary was discovered during a search of the residence.
It was also learned Do was recently arrested on gun charges in southern California, and was currently out on bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
