Brianna Ramirez is back home following a lengthy stay in the hospital.
The 16-year old is a student at Sanger High School. She is in the 10th grade and has a 3.2 GPA. Brianna is a member of her school’s softball team and plays 2nd base.
On February 12th, at approximately 10:00 pm, officers with the Parlier Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Fett Street for a 911 call of shots fired. Officers located Brianna and found she had been shot in the eye. This occurred while Brianna was riding in the passenger seat of her mother’s car. The two were driving home and as they got close to their house, several rounds were fired and one bullet went through the windshield and struck the teenager in the face.
This remains an ongoing investigation and no suspect(s) have been arrested. There is a $9,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
