The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of a Fresno woman, and is asking for the public’s help in locating two Fresno men wanted in connection with a carjacking that occurred late last month.

Arrested was 24 year old Monica Andrea Aguilar. Wanted are 36 year old Butch Anthony Alcantar, and 24 year old Nicolas Christopher Aguilar.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Adams & Elm on July 25th when the victim was dragged out of his vehicle and beaten before the suspects drove away in his black colored Acura Vigor. The car has since been recovered.

Detectives arrested Monica Aguilar on July 30th near the intersection of Maple & Princeton on charges of carjacking, vehicle theft, and kidnap to commit robbery. They are still looking for Alcantar and Aguilar.

Alcantar is described as a Hispanic male, 5-9/ 250 pounds with brown hair (shaved), and brown eyes. He has several tattoos including but not limited to, “ES” on his chin, and “Reyna” on his right cheek. Alcantar is on AB109 probation for possession of stolen property.

Aguilar is also described as a Hispanic male, 5-10/ 220 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He also has several tattoos including but not limited to, “AGUILAR” on his back, “No Town” on his chest, and an unknown type tattoo on his neck. Aguilar is also on probation for vehicle theft.
