The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is requesting public input on the 2019 / 2020 Off Highway Motor Vehicle grant application, which runs from March 3, 2020 through May 6, 2020.

The Sheriff’s Office is requesting state funding for Law Enforcement on Off Highway Trails.

Each year the State of California makes funding available through the OHV Grants Program.  This resource provides financial assistance to eligible agencies and organizations (federal, city, county, nonprofit, etc.).  It’s a tool to help develop, maintain, operate, expand, support, or contribute to well-managed, high-quality, OHV recreation areas, roads and trails.

As part of the grant application, the state requires the grant be available for public review and input for 30 days.  The grant can be viewed at http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/ or https://fresnosheriff.org/

The comment period ends May 6, 2020 at 5:00 pm.  Written comments can be submitted to the OHMVR Division's Website or mailed to:
