Fresno County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives have released the name of a man found deceased yesterday in a central Fresno home.

Daniel Martinez, age 33, was found yesterday afternoon in his residence located on the 2200 block of N Chance Ave.

Shortly after 4:30pm, deputies were dispatched to a check the welfare call at the N Chance location. When they arrived, deputies discovered the deceased Martinez inside the home. He appeared to have suffered traumatic injuries.

Homicide and crime scene investigators were requested and immediately took over the investigation.
