Gregory Hein, the 33 year old hiker last seen on July 3rd located. Earlier tonight, shortly after 7:00pm, ground searchers found Hein near Davis Lake at an elevation of over 10,000 feet.

Hein had become incapacitated due to a broken leg. SAR personnel stabilized him and he was extricated from the area. Hein is currently being flown to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

It is now believed Hein made his hike to Mt Goddard, and injured himself on the way back down. He may have been injured for several days.

Several SAR members are still in the search area and will remain there overnight until they can be extricated tomorrow.
