Members of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit have identified 30 year old Regino Serrano of Parlier as the man shot and killed on Saturday, September 19th.

Around 9:30 pm on Saturday, officers with the Parlier Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 600 block of King Street in Parlier.  Officers arrived and found a man, later identified as Regino Serrano, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He died there outside of his home.

Parlier Police requested the Sheriff’s Office take over the investigation.  Homicide detectives and our Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene to interview neighbors and collect evidence.

Detectives have determined this was not a random shooting, but they are still working to identify a true motive.  No arrests have been made.  Detectives are asking community members to contact our office if they have any information to help with the investigation.
