Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office need the public’s help to identify a man who stole an electric bicycle during a hot prowl burglary.

Around 7:15 pm on June 11th, a woman was working on a project inside her garage.  The garage door was open at the home located on S. Rogers Lane (between E. Montecito Ave. and S. Park Circle Drive) in Fresno.  A white car, believed to be a Ford Fusion, pulled up across the street.  A man got out and walked into the open garage.  He caught the woman off guard, scaring her to the point she went inside the house and locked the door.  The man took a black and blue Sonders electric bicycle and rode away.  The bike is valued at $1,500.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5’8”, 170 lbs., short black hair and has a mustache and goatee.  He has an unknown tattoo on his upper left arm.

Detectives are also in search of surveillance video that may include other angles of the suspect’s car.  If you live in the areas of E. Montecito Ave., S. Park Circle Drive, S. Rogers Lane and S. Clovis Ave. and have cameras, please contact the Sheriff’s Office so we may review the footage.
