MAGEC (Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium) conducted a gang operation on Saturday, July 20th.
Approximately 70 officers hit the streets of Orange Cove, Reedley, Parlier, Selma, Kingsburg, Del Rey, Sanger and Clovis. They made hundreds of contacts and checked on people actively on probation and parole to make sure they were obeying the laws.
Officers made 15 felony arrests and 16 misdemeanor arrests. The most notable seizure was a rocket launcher (pictured) found in Parlier. This marked the second large gang operation of the year.
