Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are still on the scene of a home invasion robbery which left one suspect dead, and the homeowner wounded.
Update: Within the last hour, Sheriff’s Narcotics detectives served a search warrant at the residence on S Wakefield.
While searching an office in an out building that houses a roofing business, detectives discovered an estimated two hundred pounds of processed marijuana. It was apparent the office was dedicated to processing the marijuana.
Detectives estimate the street value of the marijuana to be approximately $800,000.00.

Last night, shortly after 9:00pm, deputies responded to a residence located in the 7000 block of S Wakefield Ave regarding a shooting incident with one of the suspects possibly dead.
The caller reported that two armed and masked suspects, posing as law enforcement officers, had forced their way into the house. The homeowner armed himself and confronted the two would be robbers. Several shots were fired leaving one of the subjects dead inside the residence, and the homeowner wounded. The second suspect fled and is still at large.
The 30 year old homeowner received multiple gunshot wounds and had to be airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
During the subsequent investigation, over 100 pounds of processed marijuana was discovered at the residence.
