Members of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit have identified a recent homicide victim to be 56 year old Pacer Hampton of Fresno. He died after suffering gunshot wounds.
Around 2:15 pm on Tuesday, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a worker performing a service at a house located at 5590 W. Olive Ave. in Fresno. The caller said a car crashed through the iron fence and was parked on the front lawn. Inside the car was a man who appeared to be sleeping. Deputies responded along with members of EMS and the Fresno Fire Department. They determined the man was deceased.
This marks the 1st homicide investigation of 2021 in Fresno County.
