A Fresno man is in grave condition after being shot early this morning in west Fresno.
This morning, shortly after 12:30am, deputies responded to the area of Dudley & Hughes regarding a disturbance call with possible shots fired. While en route to the call, deputies were advised of a gunshot victim in front of a residence in the 2000 block of W Dudley.
When deputies arrived, they found the thirty year old victim seated on the ground, with gunshot wounds to his torso area. Deputies applied first aid and requested Emergency Medical Services.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Community Regional Medical Center where he currently listed in grave condition. Early reports indicated the subject may have been the victim of an attempted robbery. However, that information has not been confirmed.
