A Fresno man was robbed at gunpoint this past Friday morning by two motorcyclists after they forced him to stop as he drove home from work.
Just before 4:00am, the 21 year old victim had just finished working at a dairy in west Fresno County. As he stopped at the intersection of Dickenson & Hwy 180, he observed two motorcyclists parked on the northwest corner. The victim proceeded eastbound on Hwy 180.
After passing through the town of Rolinda, the victim realized the two motorcycles were coming up behind him at a high rate of speed. As they got up to his vehicle, one of the drivers pulled in front of his vehicle and applied the brakes. The victim had to stop to avoid colliding with the motorcycle. The second motorcycle stopped behind him.
Both motorcyclists then approached the driver side of his vehicle, opened the door and pulled him out. They then kicked and punched the victim, and stole money from his wallet. Both suspects then got back on their motorcycles and fled west on Hwy 180 towards Kerman.
The victim was described one of the suspects as a white male driving a light blue sports motorcycle. The second suspect was described as an American born Hispanic male driving a red colored sports motorcycle with a very loud muffler. Both suspects wore full face helmets.
Anyone with information on the identity of these two suspects, or any other aspect of this case, is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 600-3111, or CrimeStoppers at 498-STOP(7867).
