Deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Ismael Morales, 41, of Reedley. Morales has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on numerous felony drug charges and outstanding warrants.
Around 11:30 am Monday, deputies responded to a home on the 22200 block of E. Lincoln Ave. in Reedley for a domestic disturbance. Deputies learned Morales had been arguing with a woman who had been staying with him at the home. The woman told deputies she no longer wanted to stay at the home and asked that they escort her into the house to gather her belongings. While walking inside, deputies noticed a strong odor of marijuana and then noticed a marijuana growing operation sitting in plain sight. Narcotics detectives were notified and they authored a search warrant for the home. Detectives found 60 live marijuana plants, processed marijuana, concentrated marijuana known as honey oil and methamphetamine.
