2/4/16 - As part of their ongoing investigation, detectives have identified three people they would like to question in regards to the double homicide which took place on January 21, 2016.
Andrea Lara, 41, of the Fresno / Clovis area is wanted for questioning only. She is described as being 5’2”, 160 lbs. with brown eyes and brown hair. She has various tattoos on her face, neck, wrists and hands. Lara also goes by a last name of “Aranjo.” She is known to hang out in the Friant area.
Humberto Martinez, 21, of Pinedale is wanted for questioning only. He is described as being 5’8”, 170 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes and may have a goatee. Martinez also goes by the nickname “Beto.”
Martin Garcia, 54, of Pinedale is wanted for questioning only. He is described as being 5’9”, 195 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a Raider shield on his shoulder.
All of these people may be armed, so the public should not approach them. If you see any of them, call law enforcement immediately.
It was around 12:30 am on January 21st that the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call where the caller stated that there was an injured woman at a home on the 20000 block of Auberry Road, near the intersection of Millerton Road. Deputies found a woman, later identified as 36 year old Karisha Beardsley, who had been shot and was deceased. Deputies did a further search of the property and found an injured man, later identified as 44 year old John Asher, just outside the home who was also shot and deceased.
These deaths marked the 2nd and 3rd homicides of the year in Fresno County. There are currently eight homicides total in Fresno County for 2016.
