Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are working to identify, locate and arrest a robbery suspect.
The crime happened around 9:30 pm on August 24th at Central Liquor, 5014 W. Shields in Fresno. A man walked into the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk handed over cash from the register and the fled the store. There were three customers inside at the time, who remained toward the back of the store. No one was injured.
The suspect, who was captured on surveillance video, is described as being white or Hispanic, 5’9”, 220 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweater with a black mask covering his face, white shirt, dark colored pants and black Vans style slip on shoes with a white sole.
