On May 26th around 10:00 am, a man entered the Cherry Market (3738 S. Cherry Ave.) armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect pointed the gun at the store clerk then demanded money and cigarettes. The clerk complied and the suspect fled to his awaiting vehicle. 

The suspect was wearing a dark flannel with a hood, blue jeans and tan colored boots. He covered his face with a piece of clothing. The vehicle he left in is an older model white 2-door GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. The vehicle has a black stripe or molding along the side, as well as on the rear of the vehicle.

The suspect has not been caught and should be considered armed and dangerous.
