Around 7:45 am on Friday, March 27th, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a carjacking.

It occurred at a home on the 4800 block of N. Harrison Avenue in Fresno (just southwest of Fig Garden Village).  The owner of a 2007 white Chevrolet Silverado crew cab was getting ready to leave for work when a man approached him with a gun and demanded the man give him his vehicle and cell phone.  The man did and was not injured.  The armed suspect quickly drove away towards Shaw Ave.

A video camera captured an image of the suspect who appears to be Hispanic, 5’7" - 5’9”, with a thin build. The victim said the suspect spoke with a slight accent.  He was wearing a two-tone black and gray jacket with dark blue pants, black shoes with white souls and an N-95 respirator mask.

The stolen pickup truck has a CA License plate #8G31727 and the rear driver side window has a sticker that reads "Firecracker Softball League”.
