Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are seeking to identify and capture two men who robbed Hansen’s Grocery Store, located at the corner of W. McKinley and N. Bryan Avenues in Fresno.

Shortly before noon on July 12, 2019, two men drove to Hansen’s Grocery. Suspect #1 entered the store and pointed a handgun at the clerk, whom at first raised a stool at the gunman, then backed away.  Suspect #1 ordered him to give him money.  Meanwhile, Suspect #2 walked around the counter and removed the till from the registered which contained cash.  Both suspects took various packs of cigarettes as well before leaving the store with the money.  They got into their pickup and drove away.  Suspect #2 is the man who drove to and away from the business.  The clerk was not injured.

Suspect #1 is described as 5’8” – 6’1” with white or light brown skin and a heavy build.  He was wearing a blue sweatshirt, black hood, camouflage shorts, black gloves and black and white Nike shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as 5’8” – 6’0” with light brown skin and a thin build.  He was wearing a blue sweatshirt, gray hood, dark pants, black / gray gloves and brown boots.

The suspects’ vehicle is described as a black, 2000s model GMC extended cab pickup truck.  The paint on both the hood and roof is oxidized.
