Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have obtained new information regarding the murder 68-year-old Francisco Acosta of Huron.
This has caused detectives to revisit the case. They are now asking for the public to get involved and help find the person who killed Acosta. Acosta’s family also urges the public to please come forward and help detectives with any information, including those involved with his death.
On Sunday, January 29, 2017, at about 9:40 am, Huron police officers were dispatched to a drive-by shooting at a home located at 16735 14th Street in Huron. Upon arrival, officers found Acosta inside the living room suffering from a gunshot wound. Acosta died at the scene.
