Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested 57 year old Todd Mumma of Fresno.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of manufacturing child pornography and a misdemeanor of peeping. His bail was set at $40,000. He has since paid his bond and been released from custody.
On Friday, May 8th, members of the Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force performed follow up work on a tip. This included serving a search warrant at a house located on the 11000 block of Glen Castle Way in Fresno. Numerous cameras and electronic storage devices were collected that contained dozens of pornographic images of children. Detectives discovered Mumma had installed hidden cameras in bedrooms and bathrooms throughout his house, allowing him to secretly record family members and visitors as they were nude. ICAC Jack, the unit’s dog who is specially training to detect electronic devices, played a critical role during the search by sniffing out some of those cameras.
Detectives then followed a lead which took them to a business owned by Mumma. It is Select Business Systems located on the 7500 block of N. Del Mar Ave. in Fresno. Stored inside Mumma’s office, detectives recovered a device that contained a hidden camera. However, no hidden cameras were found to be installed inside the workplace.
