Around 12:00 pm on Friday, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a woman who lives in the area of Belmont and Leonard Ave. in Fresno.

The woman said her ex-boyfriend had come to her house uninvited and was breaking the home’s windows and throwing bricks through the windows of several vehicles parked on the property.  The woman has a one year old child in common with the suspect, 23-year-old Christian Loya.  The child was in the house with her during this disturbance.  The woman locked all of the doors and yelled for Loya to leave.  She recently filed a restraining order against Loya.

Deputies arrived on scene and took Loya into custody without incident.  He never entered the house and the woman and her child were not injured.  Paramedics transported Loya to the hospital for a medical evaluation.  Upon completion, he will be booked into the Fresno County Jail for felony vandalism.

Anyone with additional information on Christian Loya is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867).
