On Tuesday night, members of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Ag Task Force arrested 52 year old Brandy Mabry of Fresno.

The arrest occurred at a home located on the 500 block of W. Celeste Ave. in Fresno.  She was booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of embezzlement, grand theft by an employee and forgery.  She has since bailed out of jail after posting the necessary bond.

The investigation began on October 7, 2016 when deputies received a report from Simone Fruit Company located near the intersection of W. Shields and N. Chateau Fresno Avenues in Fresno.  The reporting person suspected that Brandy Mabry, the company’s secretary / bookkeeper, had been embezzling money.  Detectives found evidence dating back to March 2015 that Mabry had altered business checks and deposited the money into her personal bank account.  Mabry stole approximately $287,000 during this time period.

This case has been submitted to the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office for review.  If you have any additional information to share about Brandy Mabry, please contact the FSO Ag Task Force at (559) 600-8150.
