Valley Crime Stoppers and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have increased the reward in hopes of gaining information that leads to the identification and arrest of a suspect or suspects.

On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 7:20 A.M., officers from the Fresno Police Department responded to a home on the 2500 block of South Fruit Avenue regarding a report of multiple gunshots heard within a home. Officers arrived and found 18-year-old Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her 3-week-old infant daughter, Celine Solorio-Rivera, had been brutally murdered. They were shot to death inside their bedroom.

Homicide detectives encourage anyone who has information regarding this murder to report it to Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867) or www.valleycrimestoppers.org  You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for the $25,000 cash reward.

Valley Crime Stoppers has secured a private cash donation of $10,000 to go toward the investigation into the death of 19 year old Angel Zuniga of Fresno.

Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested 58 year old David Mitchell of Fresno.

Deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a 15 year old Tranquillity High School student for illegal possession of a firearm and making criminal threats.

On Monday, October 10, Selma Police Department Chief Rudy Alcaraz discovered vehicle debris along Trimmer Springs Road, near Pine Flat Lake.

Around 5:00 pm on September 19th, two young men committed a robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at the corner of Clovis and Ashlan Avenues in Fresno’s Tarpey Village neighborhood.

As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Sex Crimes Unit arrested 81 year old David Nehring of Auberry.

On Thursday, detectives with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested 30 year old Hunter Carlis of Fresno.
