Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives have released the name of the man involved in this morning’s shooting incident involving a deputy sheriff.  He is 32 year old Oscar Alvarez of Selma.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of two people on several felony charges after they were caught parked in a stolen truck.  Arrested were 22 year old Colt Logan Mercer of Fresno, and 19 year old Alexis Garabedian of Friant.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of a Selma man after he beat and assaulted a 36 year old female with a machete.  

Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are releasing surveillance video of the possible suspect vehicle involved in a drive by shooting earlier this month that left one man dead.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of a Fresno man, currently on felony probation, on several charges after he was caught stealing items from a farm in western Fresno County.  Arrested was 37 year old Donald Ray Edlund.

Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a weekend party disturbance where gunshots were fired and five people stabbed.
