A 21 year old Dinuba man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred this past May has been arrested. Javier Serna Alcantar was taken into custody late last week near Reedley.
A tip led investigators to an address located near Crawford & Manning, just outside the City of Reedley. This past Thursday morning, members of the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force, surrounded a trailer on the property and ordered Alcantar to come out. After a few minutes, Alcantar exited and was taken into custody without incident.
Alcantar was transported to the Fresno County Jail where he was booked on charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Alcantar was wanted for the May 11th drive by shooting that occurred near the intersection of “D” St & Railroad. The shooting left one subject seriously injured.
A second suspect in the shooting, 47 year old Fabian Ramos Ramirez, was arrested June 9th at a residence in Dinuba. He is facing the same charges.
