One Dead, Several Injured After Biker Shoot Out

Fresno County Sheriff's investigators are currently at the scene of a shooting incident that occurred earlier this morning in Calwa. The shooting left one person dead and twelve injured

Shortly before 2:00am, Sheriff's deputies responded to the shooting incident at the Soul Brothers motorcycle club's clubhouse located on Calwa just east of Pullman.

As deputies arrived on scene, hundreds of people were fleeing the area, and shots were still being fired. As many as 100 deputies, CHP and FPD officers responded.

The investigation has revealed the motorcycle club was hosting a dance at its clubhouse with as many as 500 people in attendance. The shooting started inside the clubhouse, then quickly moved outside where a running gun battle occurred on Calwa Ave. Several rounds were shot during the incident.

The dead victim and other injured victims were found at the clubhouse. Another injured victim was found on a nearby street, and several others were taken to Community Regional Medical Center prior to deputies arriving on scene. Injuries ranged from minor to extremely serious.
