Detectives Seek Public's Help In Early Morning Home Invasion Robbery

Fresno County Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a truck stolen in an early morning home invasion robbery in eastern Fresno County.

The truck is described as a blue, 2003 Dodge Dakota pick-up truck, California license plate 7P13279. The truck has a red stripe along the bottom, and a grey interior. The truck also has "Raiders" license plate frame.

This morning, shortly before 2 a.m., deputies responded to the home invasion call at a residence located in the 11500 Block of East American Avenue.

It was reported that three armed suspects had entered the home, and demanded marijuana and cash. The suspects apparently believed that the victims grew marijuana at the residence.

When the suspects learned there was no marijuana at the residence, the victims, three adults, a teenager, and a 17-month-old infant were tied up while the suspects removed several items of property. The suspects also stole the victim's truck which is still outstanding.

When deputies arrived at the residence, no one was home as the victims had managed to free themselves, and drove to the Sanger Police Department.

During the subsequent investigation, no evidence was found indicating a marijuana grow at the residence.

The suspects are only described as males, wearing black or blue colored ski masks, and all armed with handguns. They should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on this investigation is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 600-3111, or CrimeStoppers at 498-STOP(7867).
