Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims has again been invited to the White House. Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., Sheriff Mims will participate in a meeting with the President on the topic of immigration reform.
Following the White House meeting, the Sheriff will participate in a series of discussions on Wednesday with the Bible, Badges, and Business coalition that has been working several months to encourage immigration reform.
Said Sheriff Mims prior to leaving for Washington DC, "I am pleased to be included in the President’s discussion on immigration reform, a critical issue for law enforcement in Fresno County."
Sheriff Mims will be tweeting her experiences in real time as the meetings are happening. Follow her @MargaretMims.
