Two Arrested In Separate Child Pornography Investigations

Child Pornography Arrests
The Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force today announced the arrest of two men in two separate internet child pornography investigations. Arrested were 25-year-old Jesus Manuel Andrade of Selma and 36-year-old David Hume of Fresno.

Both men were identified during an ongoing proactive investigation targeting suspects who use peer to peer networks to download and distribute child pornography.

In the first investigation, this past Tuesday, ICAC detectives served a search warrant at Andrade's residence located in the 2500 Block of Goldenbridge Street in the City of Selma. Several computers were seized during the service of the warrant. During the investigation, detectives discovered several videos depicting young children, between the ages of eight and 13, being sexually abused. Andrade was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of possessing child pornography.

During the second investigation, yesterday, detectives served a search warrant at Hume's residence located in the 5000 Block of E Ashlan Avenue in the City of Fresno. Hume was contacted as he was leaving the residence. During the investigation, detectives discovered several videos on Hume's computer depicting young children, between the ages of seven and 12, being sexually abused. Detectives also learned that Hume had actually met with a young boy after meeting him via social media. Hume was also arrested and booked into the jail on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.

Both investigations are continuing.

Last year, the Task Force conducted almost 550 child pornography investigations and made 72 felony arrests. The Task Force also received more than 400 cybertips.

The Task Force, headed by the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, is made up of investigators from 58 different law enforcement agencies from the local, state, and federal levels, and covers nine counties including Fresno, Inyo, Tulare, Kern, San Luis Obispo, Kings, Merced, Mariposa, and Madera.
