Fresno County Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two persons wanted in connection with a strong arm robbery that occurred this past weekend.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office today announced the arrest of a Reedley man in connection with several stolen items discovered at his residence. Arrested was 29 year old Jesus Prieto Vasques.
Fresno County Sheriff's deputies arrested several subjects last night after searching for a wanted Fresno man. Arrested were 28-year-old Alfredo Salazar Jr, 26-year-old Staci Janae Gomez, 33-year-old Jeffrey Lee Swetnam, and 30-year-old Mary Lou Baker, all of Fresno.
Fresno County Sheriff narcotics detectives, along with investigators from DEA and the California DOJ, are currently at the scene of a large marijuana grow near Sanger. The location is also the scene of a shooting incident that occurred last night.
A 54 year old Fowler man was reportedly struck by lightning at a residence while deputies were handling a civil call at the same location.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office today announced the arrest of two Fresno men, one a parolee, on several charges pertaining to commercial burglaries in Fresno County. Arrested were 23 year old Ignacio Luis Bracamontes Jr, and 28 year old Jose Paez.
Early this morning, shortly before 2:00am, deputies made a vehicle stop on a gold colored Chevy Impala near the intersection of Peach & Escalon. Deputies contacted the occupants of the car who were later identified as Bracamontes and Paez, and immediately noticed both were wearing gloves and attempting to conceal a crowbar. A search of the vehicle also revealed rubber gloves, bolt cutters, and marijuana.
During the investigation, it was learned both Bracamontes and Paez were on active parole. A subsequent search of Paez' residence revealed two safes. Both had been stolen during two different sandwich shop burglaries in the City of Clovis, where the doors had been pried open, and the safes removed. Clovis PD detectives also responded to assist.
Deputies believe Bracamontes and Paez may be responsible for several commercial burglaries throughout Fresno, Sanger, and Clovis.
Bracamontes was arrested on charges of possession of burglary tools, and possession of marijuana. Paez was arrested on charges of possession of burglary tools, and parole violations. However, the investigation is continuing at this time, and more charges may follow.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office today announced the arrest of two people, one a wanted parolee, after leading deputies on a 25-minute high-speed pursuit. Arrested were 31-year-old Phillip Paul Marquez, and 24-year-old Adriana Nichole Trevino, both of Fresno.
Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person(s) responsible for several recent pellet gun shooting incidents.
